RULES & REGULATIONS & BASIC SUBMISSIONS GUIDELINES FOR PHOTOGRAPHS.
- Only KAPICON participants are eligible to participate in the contest.
- The entries (soft copy of low-resolution photograph) must be submitted by 26th January 2024
- 🌿 Theme: Environment & Nature
- Size of the photographs must be 3X2 feet.
Photo should be in 3:2 ratio.
Photos submitted must be at least 640 pixels. Images should be no larger than 15MB. Photos must be in JPEG
- All submitted photos must be your original work. However, there must be no border(s), logo(s), copyright marks, identifying marks, or any other visible references and/or marks on the image.
- Basic editing, including color enhancement, the use of filters, and cropping of the Photo(s) is acceptable, provided any such editing does not affect the authenticity and/or genuineness of the Photo(s).
- Advanced editing used to create illusions, deceptions and/or manipulations, and the adding and removing of significant elements within the frame is prohibited.
- Photos that portray or otherwise include inappropriate and/or offensive content, including provocative, violence, human rights and/or environmental violation, and/or any other contents deemed to be contrary to the law, religious, cultural & moral traditions and practices of India, are strictly prohibited and will be immediately discarded.
- Maximum 2 entries* will be allowed per participant.
- Please Send low resolution photograph to us. Our Moderator the wildlife photographer Mr. Mangesh Desai, will screen the entries and select the photos for exhibition. The selected photographs will be displayed in KAPICON Art Gallery.
- Participants Should bring the framed printed copy of the photo for exhibition and submit to the organizers before 1:00 pm on 3rd February 2024
- Each photo must bear a suitable caption, and a brief description.
- The decision of judges Dr. Sandeep Shrotri and Dr. Vijay Kassa will be final & binding on all participants.
- Results will be declared during prize distribution ceremony on Sunday 4th Feb in KAPICON.
🏆 Prizes will also be awarded to the best photos. 🏆
- 3 Best photographs will be awarded special prizes
- 3 Consolation prizes will be awarded.
